Our firm has a long history of designing spaces for worship, the arts, and community gathering. The firm's earliest roots were in the design and construction of churches, and we have maintained that tradition over the last three decades, while evolving to meet the needs of contemporary gathering spaces.
Hope City Church now has a permanent home off I-49 on Jaguar Road in Joplin, MO. This roughly 35,000 S.F. space utilizes a pre-engineered steel structure as well as corrugated metal siding and weathering steel. This new multi-functional facility features a large worship space, offices, a cafe, classrooms, recreational areas, and covered patios for gathering outside in the shade.
Located within Joplin's St. John's Mercy Memorial Garden, this free-standing pavilion features an glu-lam wood structure that provides shelter for park-goers and offers views of the surrounding landscape, trails, and sculptures throughout the park, memorializing the Joplin Tornado of May 2011.
